Tiny Kong makes her debut in Donkey Kong 64 (Nintendo 64, 1999). The manual introduces her as Dixie Kong's little sister, the ponytailed heroine of the Donkey Kong Country games. Captured by K. Rool's troops along with three of her companions, she has to be freed by Diddy before joining the adventure.

Her original look is the 1990s in a nutshell: overalls, a white beanie and above all long blonde pigtails — the family trait par excellence, and her main working tool.
